2026 Future Tigers Camp

Sunday, August 23
1:00 PM - 5:30 PM

  • For boys going into grades 11-12

1-1:30 PM - Check-in will take place in the Health and Wellness Athletic Center (HWA)

1:30 PM - Camp Begins

5:30 PM - Camp Concludes/Pizza Party

Camp will consist of:

  • Skill Development Sessions
  • Contests
  • 5-on-5 games
  • Campus Tour
  • Athletic Facilities Tour
  • Admissions Meeting

Facilities

All games will take place in our newly renovated arena and gymnasium – a total of 5 courts - 3 courts in the main arena and 2 courts in the gymnasium. Address: 250 Bill Edwards Dr, Springfield, OH 45504

Time: 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
What classes the camp includes: chant class, dance class, tumbling class, jump class
Hosts: Wittenberg Cheerleading Team
Age requirement: 6 years old and up
Cost: $90 per athlete

2026 Summer Camp

Athletes 7th to 12th Grade

  • Date: Saturday July 11, 2026
  • Time: 12:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. (11:45 a.m. registration)
  • Location: The Steemer; 250 Bill Edwards Dr., Springfield 45504
  • Cost: $80.00

CAMP EVENTS: Shot Put | Discus | Hurdles | Sprints | High Jump | Long Jump | 100-200-400 

Sprints and Speed Development: Learn blocks and sprint mechanics to increase speed and sprinting efficiency. Learn to be more explosive and proper techniques for the throws and jumps.

CAMP STAFF

  • Paris Hilliard: Wittenberg University Head Coach, 2020, 2022 NCAC Head Coach of the Year Indoor
  • Josh Lynch: Wittenberg University Assistant (Jumps)
  • Alexia Page-Boyd: Wittenberg University Assistant (Throws)
  • Julius Higginbothan: Kenyon College Head Track and Field Coach
  • Every event will have excellent instructors with many National Champions and All-Americans.

Things to bring:

  • Water bottle
  • Running shoes
  • Sprints/Jumps: Bring spikes
  • Throwers: bring implements and throws shoes
